DCC April Members Meeting: Lean and Good Will2016 04 12
This time, at our traditional monthly members meeting had two speakers, totally different, but absolutely interesting and informative. As usually, hosted by our good member Radisson BLU Royal Astorija Hotel.
The first one was Vidas Petraitis (CEO at UAB „Efektyvūs procesai” with the topic “Mastering LEAN Management to reach world-class performance“. He thoroughly explained about LEAN’s principles, implementation and has visually shown a few examples from Lithuanian companies of what was before and after they introduced their services. Looks like topic of LEAN implementation is an endless topic nad are so many interesting points to discuss about. It was such an amazing and inspiring topic that no one felt exhausted.
Further, we had Deividas Vileniškis from Pro Cycling LT. Deividas begun with a briefly presentation about “Pro Cycling”. As we have mentioned few times before, we are initiating a new event for the Charity. We got an idea to make a “Charity Ride” with bikes this spring and therefore we decided to join forces with “ProCycling”. Homework is already done and registration for the event will be opened shortly. Our members will get the very fresh information about this project very soon – so looking forward to see as much of Danish community as possible that will represent their good will and help us raise funds for kids with cancer.
Among number of events organised by Deividas team, Vilnius Grand Prix tour was highlighted mostly. He invited companies not only to take part in this tour as cyclists, but also as sponsors. Thus, Deividas introduced an exclusive opportunity to showcase ones company in a massive scope event for Vilnius citizens. The event is going to be held on the 21st of May where all citizens of Vilnius are invited.
