These one-day or multi-day sessions are designed to bring employees together to quickly resolve issues that are of concern to their organisation. A team consisting of employees and consultants analyses the selected processes and uses Lean methods (Kaizen, PDCA, SMED, Standardised Work, 5 Whys, etc.) to identify root causes of the problem, opportunities, priorities, expected actions, responsible employees and implementation deadlines. The advantage of these sessions is a quick and tangible result and specific benefits to the company brought by addressing problems, e.g. eliminating bottlenecks of the process, addressing inventory accumulation, information delays, emerging errors, etc.
